  • Palimpsest responds to environmental ruination in the Anthropocene and traverses across time to acknowledge the effects of climate change, subtly invoking a collective call for action.
  • Esoteric Indo – Buddhist philosophy espouses the concept of the Elemental quintet that are tangibly and metaphorically present in the human body and as the composition of the universe. In this Mixed – media Choreography, the elements become a Spatio – temporal germination board for the climate crisis , via dialogues between Dance, Sound design, Tech art and Artificial Intelligence.
  • The prologue offers an insight into how human footprints now embody Carbon footprints. This is followed by an evocative piece around the Water element where an AI design responds to the Dancers’ movement on a molecular level, created with Beijing/ UK based artiste, Jiayu Li.
  • A Baul song about leaving behind homelands recreates a visual landscape for a shifting world that has created myriad climate migrants and refugees. In their voices, we hear both hurt and hope.
  • The finale views nature as an eternal wisdom stream and speaks to it via an audience interaction to be our guide to rejuvenation and regeneration.
